Anne D. (Pirschl) Degre

Anne D. Degre, 54 of Unity Township died Saturday, December 16, 2017. She was born on February 16, 1963 in Pittsburgh.  Anne was the CEO of Mobile Concepts by Scotty in Mt. Pleasant. The company was originally founded by her grandfather in 1956 as Serro Scotty Trailers. Shortly after graduating from West Virginia University, she joined the company in 1990 and developed the Scotty Fire Safety House, used by fire departments throughout the world. In 2001, she created a new vision and transformed the company’s direction to thrive in a new market.  Under her direction, Mobile Concept went on to create dozens of Tactical Operation Centers for the NYPD, National Guard, Department of Defense and Homeland Security.  She was a long time member of the Women President’s Organization where she shared life and laughter with many friends who loved her dearly. She belonged to Life Church, Greensburg and participated in Big Brothers Big Sisters in addition to numerous other non-profit organizations and charities.  Anne was the beloved daughter of Florence Pirschl and the late Joesph Pirschl.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents; as well as many beloved aunts and uncles.  She is survived by her husband and partner of over 21 years, Henri Degre; and their three incredible sons, Brayden Scott, and twins Samuel Joseph and Nicolas Serro, all of Unity Township. All of whom were her entire world.  She is also survived by her mother Florence (Serro) Pirshcl of Unity Township; her siblings Gary J. Pirschl of Champion and Susan Skundrich (John) of North Huntington; as well as six nieces and nephews, Noah, Pierce, Andrew, Timothy, Diana and Lauren.  Anne’s warrior spirit, striking presence and fierce sense of humor will be deeply missed by her family and friends.  Friends will be received on Thursday, December 21st from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral service will be held Friday, December 22nd at 11 am in the funeral home with Pastor Dan Kaser officiating.  Entombment will follow Westmoreland County Memorial Park Mausoleum.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent in Anne’s honor to: Animal Friends of Westmoreland, 216 Depot St., Youngwood, PA 15697 or online at www.animalfriendswestmoreland.org
