Blase A. Urban, 57, of South Greensburg, died Monday, October 23, 2017 in his home.  He was born October 27, 1959 in Jeannette, a son of the late John S. Sr. and Ann E. (Knoppel) Urban.  He had formerly been employed as a youth care worker at the Juvenile Detention Center of Westmoreland County.  He was a member of Tetelestai Church, New Kensington and a former member of St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg.  He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.  He is survived by his brother: John S. Urban Jr. and wife Michele of Latrobe; his nephew: John S. Urban III and wife Susan; his niece: Jayme Urban; six great-nieces and great-nephews: Jade, Daysha, Giannah, Tommy, Avery and Madison; his close friend: Frank Sikora of Latrobe; and personal friend and caregiver: Kim Clougherty.  Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Craig R.
