Edward S. DeBone, 85, of Greensburg, died Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Select Specialty Hospital., Latrobe.  He was born February 22, 1931 in Greensburg, the youngest of nine children of the late Samuel and Mary (Mignogna) DeBone.  Prior to retirement he was employed by the US Postal Service and later by Southwest Bank, both in Greensburg.  He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg, Hilltop Social Club, VFW Post #33 and American Legion Post #981.  He was an Army veteran of the National Guard and an avid Pitt sports fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.  He is survived by his son, David E. DeBone and his wife, Judith L., of Greensburg and a daughter, Leah Murphy, of Greensburg; 5 grandchildren: Adam, Ryan and Danielle Murphy; Nicholas and Vincent DeBone; a sister, Lena Cravotta, of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Wednesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg.  Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery with full military honors accorded by the VFW Post #33 Honor Guard.
