Edward J. Lucas, 91, of Greensburg, passed away peacefully Monday morning, March 20, 2017 in Hempfield Manor, Greensburg.  He was born July 27, 1925 in United, a son of the late Joseph F. and Mary (Bonkovich) Lucas.  Prior to retirement he had been employed by the former Jeannette Glass Corporation for 30 years.  He was a member of St. Paul Parish, Greensburg.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant daughter: Marlene Ann; four brothers: John, Joseph, Walter and Eugene “Pete”; and two sisters: Mary Tomechko and Eleanor Kujawa.  He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years: Pauline (Zeoli) Lucas; their children: Rosalind Ann Lucas of Greensburg and Edward M. Lucas and wife Jeanie of New Stanton; two grandchildren: Natalie and Anthony; his sister: Margaret Bart and husband Gregory of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers: Emil Lucas of United and Bernard Lucas of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Thursday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Paul Parish, Greensburg.  Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.  www.bachafh.com
