Frances C. Brannigan, 89, of Harrison City, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  She was born December 3, 1927 in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Dudzinsky) Slanina.  She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Edward Brannigan on September 20, 2000.  She is survived by her son: Robert E. Brannigan II of Annapolis, Maryland; two daughters: Ann F. Snyder and husband Curtis of Grand Prairie, Texas and Elizabeth M. Freeman and husband Spike of Harrison City; four grandchildren: April and husband Ivan Greathouse, Ashley, Heather and Austin; and one great-grandson: Jude Greathouse.  There will be no public visitation.  All arrangements are private.  LEO M.
