Horatio F. “Frank,” “Orazio”, “Duddy”, “Sluggo” Rossi, 85, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in St. Anne Home, Greensburg.  He was born October 3, 1931 in Greensburg, a son of the late Frank and Maria (Natarelli) Rossi.  Prior to retirement he had been employed by Sears and Roebuck for 42 years.  He was a member of St. Paul Parish, Greensburg.  He was also a member of the Roosevelt Club, American Legion Post #981, So. Greensburg Hunt Club, SNPJ, AMS Club and A&B Club.  He was an avid pool player at his favorite clubs.  He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War serving in the 224th Infantry Reg. at Punch Bowl, Satae-Ri Kumhwa Chorwon Valley, Korea.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers: Achilles “Ike”, Rocco and wife Caroline and Nicholas and wife Rose Rossi; three sisters: Anna Deemer, Angeline Maline (Andy) and Carmella Tressitt; and his brother-in-law: James Daversa.  He is survived by his wife of 59 years: Dolores M. (Stepnick) Rossi; his son: Daniel N. Rossi and wife Claire of Buena Vista; four daughters: Marianne Rossi-Brown and husband Todd, Carol Mash and husband Michael, Linda Rossi and Michelle Caesar all of Greensburg; eight grandchildren: Rachele and Marcia Mash, Nathan and Rebecca Stull, Nicholas and Gino Horatio Caesar, Paula Hockenberry and Todd Brown, Jr.; his brother: Anthony Rossi and wife Rita of Maryland; his sister: Jennie Daversa of Greensburg; his sister-in-law: Mary Rossi of Greensburg; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Saturday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Paul Parish, Greensburg.  Entombment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum with full military honors accorded by the American Legion Post #981 Honor Guard. “God is great, beer is good and people are crazy.”  www.bachafh.com
