Joseph J. Cremonese, 91, of Greensburg, died Friday, September 16, 2016 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  He was born October 27, 1924 in Southwest Greensburg, a son of the late Giovanni and Assunta (Paglia) Cremonese.  Prior to retirement he had been employed by the Elliott Company, of Jeannette.  He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII, one of four brothers serving in the armed services during WWII. He was a member of the Southwest Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department, the Hilltop Social Club, Elliott Retirees, Hillview Senior Bowling League and enjoyed bowling and golfing until the age of 90.  He loved the casinos and was the best story teller and a friend to all.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret M. (Macik) Cremonese on May 14, 1991; brothers, Archangel Long, John Long and Mark Gentillo; sisters, Mary Tate, Emma Calcagni, Lucy Gentillo and Teresa Nowe. He is survived by a daughter, Debra Crossman and her husband, Timothy, of New Stanton.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews all of whom were his favorite. And friends too numerous to count. He will be missed. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Prayers will begin at 9:00 AM Tuesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 9:30 AM in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg.  Entombment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum. The Southwest Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department will conduct a memorial service at 7 PM Monday in the funeral home.     www.bachafh.com
