Josephine G. (Kowinsky) Stumpo, 101, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  She was born September 18, 1916 in Whitney, a daughter of the late John and Stella (Markowiak) Kowinsky.  She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Stumpo, Sr. on September 20, 1969; three sisters, Mary Gondosh, Clara Rucolas and Madge Sisley; infant sister, Elizabeth; and two brothers, John and Francis Kowinsky.  She is survived by her children, Samuel Stumpo, Jr. and Nancy, David P. Stumpo and Harriet, Thomas Stumpo and Carol, Kathleen Stumpo Barnhart and Robert, and Paul Stumpo and Valia; five grandchildren, Sheila Kobuck (Richard), Michelle Hartman, Anthony Mahkovic, Jennifer Cox and Ziah Stumpo; five great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Sarah and Angela Kobuck, and Whitney and Ainsley Cox; her brother, William Kowinsky; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Sunday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Monday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg.  Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.  www.bachafh.com
