Robert A. Uhrin, 72, of Des Plaines, Ill., died Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Alden Des Plaines Rehabilitation and Health Care. He was born Dec. 23, 1944, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late Andrew S. and Anna V. (Uhring) Uhrin. He was a graduate of Hurst High School class of 1962, received his bachelor's degree from St. Vincent College in 1966 then earned his MBA from Roosevelt University. Prior to retirement, Bob was president and systems analyst of the former CPR Partners in Des Plaines. He was also an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia R. (Kuhn) Uhrin; four brothers, James Uhrin and wife Barbara, of Greensburg, Michael Uhrin, of Mt. Pleasant, David Uhrin and wife Karen, of Mt. Pleasant, and Tom Uhring and wife Terri, of Lycippus; his sister, Christine Levay and husband Richard, of Greensburg; 11 nieces and nephews; and 13 great-nieces and -nephews.  Friends will be received from 9 to 10 AM Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, Inc., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity, at which time a funeral liturgy will be held with The Rev. John A. Sedlak as celebrant.  Private inurnment in St. Florian Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Township.
