Rocco Capasso, Sr., 69, of Hannastown, died Sunday, October 15, 2017 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.  He was born August 26, 1948 in South Greensburg, a son of the late Louis and Christina (Pastore) Capasso.  Prior to retirement he had been a tool and die maker journeyman for General Carbide, Inc., Greensburg.  He was a member of St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, Crabtree and an Army Veteran.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers: Alex, Carlo, Joseph and Louis Capasso; and his sister: Nancy Rafferty.  He is survived by his wife of 47 years: Deborah A. (Cararini) Capasso; two sons: Rocco Capasso, Jr. of Pittsburgh and Carlo Capasso and companion Michelle Dunlevey of Hannastown and her children: Scotty, Josh and Kayla; his daughter: Georgina Carasia and husband James of Latrobe; three grandchildren: Giovanni, Nico and Hannah; his brother: Frank Capasso of Greensburg; six sisters: Dee Shirey of Greensburg, Mary Smith and husband Glenn of Youngwood, Donna Testa of Greensburg, Celeste Mulvehill of Jeannette, Nat Brown and husband Rich of Homer City and Marlena Capasso of Greensburg; his brother-in-law: Thomas Rafferty of Greensburg; two sisters-in-law: Dorothy Capasso and Shirley Capasso both of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral liturgy will begin at 11 AM Thursday in the funeral home with The Rev.
