Timothy W. Scheier

Timothy W. Scheier, 70, of Connellsville, died Sunday, April 8, 2018 in his home.  He was born September 9, 1947 in San Diego, CA, a son of the late Gustave Scheier and Betty Scheier McMann.  Prior to retirement he had been employed by Genuine Tool, Irwin.  He was Protestant by faith.  Timothy was a graduate of St. Vincent College and an Army veteran serving in the Korean Conflict.  He is survived by two sons, Christian C. Scheier and wife Jennifer, of Connellsville and Timothy W. Scheier, Jr., of Brunswick, OH; his daughter, Dawn Jackel and husband Daniel, of North Huntingdon; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Sarver and husband Dale, of Jeannette and Nancy Stefanik and husband Michael, of  Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Robert A. Free officiating.  Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.  www.bachafh.com
