Don L. Carden

Don L. Carden, 82, of Harvest, AL, formerly of Greensburg, passed from this earthly life into eternal rest on Sunday, April 29, 2018.  He was born January 8, 1936 in Prospect, TN, a son of the late Harry W. and Nannie Lou (Woodard) Carden of Decatur, AL.  Don graduated from Morgan County High School in 1954.  He was a floral designer by trade.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters, Mattie McNesse, Helen Norris Smith and Gloria Lloyd; and four brothers, Harry Jr., Melvin, Bobby and Perry Carden.  He is survived by his brother, Ted Carden; and his partner of 47 years, Forrest “Wayne” Ritenour.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Private interment will be held on Saturday in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local hospice care or favorite charity.  I wish to express my sincere thanks to family, friends and neighbors for their support and prayers.  We wish to thank Hospice Family Care of Huntsville, AL for their excellent care.  www.bachafh.com
