Dorothy M. Kepchia

Dorothy M. Kepchia, 83, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in Walden’s View, North Huntingdon.  She was born September 30, 1934 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Stanley and Barbara (Golek) Stepich.  Prior to retirement she had been employed by Sears, Greensburg.  She was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church and the American Legion Ladies Auxillary Post 981, both of South Greensburg. She was a devoted volunteer at Westmoreland Manor for over 20 years where she also served as a eucharistic minister.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters Agnes Seaman and Barbara Spallone.  She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Albert Kepchia; her children: Ron Kepchia and his wife Juanita of Latrobe, Jan Moore and her husband Jerry of Export, Rick Kepchia and his wife Vicki of Grapeville, and Jeff Kepchia and Cecelia of Wellington, FL; six grandchildren: Christian (Bill), Devin, Cody, Jerod, Jeffrey and Jessica; four great grandchildren: Ryan, Alyssa, Lincoln and Kaitlynd; one great great grandson, Aiden; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Prayers will begin at 8:30 AM Saturday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 9 AM in St. Bruno Catholic Church, South Greensburg.  Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. www.bachafh.com
