Franz Malik Obituary

Franz J. Malik, 55, of Latrobe, died Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. He was born January 14, 1964 in Latrobe, a son of the late Rudolph V. and Josephine (Johnstone) Malik. He previously worked at the former Malik & Son’s Scrapyard, Latrobe. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Rudolph Jr. and Ronald Malik. He is survived by three sisters, Joanne Hutter and husband Russell, Cecilia K. Keitz and husband Terry and Martha J. Gerard, and a brother, David F. Malik and wife Lorie all of Latrobe. He is also survived by four nephews, Mike and Danny Malik, Russell Hutter, Jr. and Lionel Gerard, III, two nieces, Michelle Palko and Hannah Gerard and several great nieces and nephews. Private funeral arrangements by Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasant Unity. Interment in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.
