Jennie M. (Obranovic) Manchas

Jennie M. Manchas, 89, of South Greensburg, formerly of Allison No. 2, died Wednesday, August 1, 2018 in Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg.  She was born October 4, 1928 in Allison No. 2, a daughter of the late Anton and Susan (Mourovic) Obranovic.  Prior to retirement she had been the secretary for Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Republic.  She was a member of St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg and was extremely proud of her Slovenian heritage.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Manchas on March 21, 1969; her daughter, MaryAnn Manchas-Bolk; and her sister, Mary Obranovic.  She is survived by four sons, Joseph Manchas (Jackie), of Missouri, The Rev. Lawrence L. Manchas, Pastor of St. Paul Parish, Greensburg and Administrator of St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg; Edward Manchas (Robyne), and Timothy Manchas, all of Brownsville; three grandchildren, Jamie Leigh Cramer (Jason), of Washington, Zachary Manchas, of Denver, CO, and Brandon Manchas (fiancé Emily Radabaugh), of Brownsville; and her great-granddaughter, Hailey Marie Cramer.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 AM Saturday in St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg.  Everyone please go directly to the church.  Private interment will be held in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Republic.  The Rosary Altar Societies of St. Paul Parish and St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church will pray the rosary at 1:30 PM Friday in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Parish, 820 Carbon Rd., Greensburg, PA 15601 or St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, 1729 Poplar St., Greensburg, PA 15601.  www.bachafh.com
