Joseph Roy Hisker

Joseph Roy Hisker, 43, of Greensburg, died Saturday, July 21, 2018 in his family home.  He was born September 29, 1974 in Greensburg, a son of Deacon William J. and Vera (Nelson) Hisker, of Greensburg.  He was a licensed optician at 3 Guys Optical Center, Pittsburgh.  He was Roman Catholic by faith.  Joseph was preceded in death by his brother, William J. Hisker VI; his paternal grandparents, William J. and Mary Jane (Newhouse) Hisker; and his maternal grandparents, Roy and Rita (Gregg) Nelson.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Wynter Rose Hisker, of Greensburg; his sister, Jennifer Hedden and husband Joseph, and their children, Miriam and Elizabeth, all of Murrysville; his partner, Monica (Mulcahy) Rebar, of Greensburg; two step-sons, Seth and Calvin Rebar; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Monday and Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM Wednesday in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg.  Everyone please go directly to the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Greensburg, 711 E.
