Lillian E. (Bomer) Holden, 95, of Greensburg, died Thursday, October 4, 2018 in Hempfield Manor, Greensburg. She was born January 17, 1923 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late George Jr. and Ethel (Campbell) Hopkins. Prior to retirement she had been the manager for the Twentieth Century Club, Oakland for 30 years. She was Catholic by faith. Lillian graduated from McKees Rocks High School in 1941. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert “Nobs” Holden in 2003; and four sisters, Pansie Dursey, Myrtle House, Hannah O’Grady and Ethel Golling. She is survived by three sons, Charles “Doc” Bomer and wife Alana, of Greensburg, John Bomer and wife Norma Jean, of Boiling Springs, and Michael Bomer and wife Hazel, of Susanville, Calif.; her daughter, Colleen Daughtery, of York; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Emma Bomer, of Greensburg. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg where a funeral liturgy will begin at 5 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
