Richard P. “Dick” Patrick, 85, of South Greensburg, died Tuesday, November 20, 2018 in his home. He was born April 26, 1933 in Greensburg, a son of the late Joseph and Marie (Nalevanko) Patrick. Prior to retirement he had been employed by Omco & Ball Corporation. He was Catholic by faith. Dick was an Air Force veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Flint & Glassworkers of America and the Laurel Highlands Model Airplane Club. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Patrick and his wife Virginia. He is survived by two sons, Blaine Patrick (Jeannine), of Derry, NH, and Brian Patrick (Chin), of Schertz, TX; three daughters, Mary Beth Blankenship, of Greensburg, Paula Vogelhut (Jonas), of Bel Air, MD, and Stephanie LaFrankie (Michael), of Monongahela; nine grandchildren, Joshua, Brendon, Dillon and Brianna Patrick, Marc, Samuel and Jeremiah Vogelhut, and Alex and Zachary LaFrankie; his great-grandson, Kaeden Patrick; his sister, Patricia Martin and husband Quentin, of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. A private family viewing and funeral liturgy will take place in the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Family and friends are invited to attend a committal service with Full Military Honors accorded by the VFW Post #33, Greensburg at 12 PM Noon on Monday, November 26, 2018 in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, 179 Donohoe Rd., Greensburg.
