Teresa Depcrymski Obituary

Teresa E. Depcrymski, 83, of Greensburg, died Monday, January 29, 2018 in her home.  She was born March 20, 1934 in Forest City, a daughter of the late Michael and Ann (Pauley) Herbin.  She had been employed as a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh and retired from Westmoreland Manor.  She also did private duty nursing.  She was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Greensburg and was a volunteer at the church to make pierogis.  She was a member of the board of directors of the American Heart Association.  Teresa was a graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Depcrymski on March 19, 1977; two brothers, Msgr. Michael Herbin and Seminarian Daniel Herbin; and her sister, Anne Irvin.  She is survived by two sons, John Michael Depcrymski, of Greensburg and Daniel Depcrymski and wife Patricia, of Saxonburg; two daughters, Diane Boyer and husband William, of Stow, OH and Karen Wexell, of Clinton, CT; eight grandchildren, Matthew John Boyer, Anne Marye Boyer, Nicholas John Depcrymski, Jacob Michael Depcrymski, Brianne Lauren Depcrymski, John Michael Depcrymski II, Eli Paul Wexell and Stefan John Wexell; two great-grandchildren, Kinsley Marie Boyer and Harper Anne Boyer; her brother, Dr. Joseph Herbin and wife Lynn, of Fairfield, CT; and several nieces and nephews.  At Teresa’s request, there will be no public visitation.  Requiem Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 AM Thursday in St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Greensburg.  Private entombment will be in Mt. St. Macrina Cemetery Mausoleum.  LEO M.
