Adam C. McMeekin, 79, of Greensburg, died Sunday, July 25, 2021. He was born June 14, 1942, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Thomas A. and Ruth (Coar) McMeekin. Adam retired from the State Parole Board, having been a parole officer for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He had also worked as a police officer for the City of Pittsburgh and was a Navy veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Eric McMeekin; daughter, Elizabeth Barcellino; and brother, William Zilen. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Hilda “Toni” (Caliguiri) McMeekin; his son, Thomas McMeekin and wife Lorraine; two daughters, Lisa Cusato, and Jenny Valore and husband Brandon; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly; three brothers, James Zilen and wife Helen, Thomas McMeekin and wife Maryann, and Douglas McMeekin and wife Helen; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 PM Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg where a memorial service will begin at 4 PM with the Rev. John M.
