Franklin L. Mensch, 77, of Greensburg, died peacefully at home after a long and courageous battle with MS on Friday, March 26, 2021. He was born in Greensburg, the son of the late Frank E. Mensch and Helen (Cisecky) Mensch. Prior to his retirement, he was the maintenance supervisor at DME in Youngwood. Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, travel, and spending time at his camp in Potter County, PA. He was a member of the Hecla Sportsman Club and the A&B Club in Youngwood. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Mary Jane Mensch; two sons, Franklin L. Mensch Jr. and his wife Lisa, of Greensburg, and Scott Mensch and his wife Tami, of Saltsburg; five grandchildren, TJ Mensch and his wife Anna, Devon Mensch, Angelena Mensch, Alexis Mensch and Madison Mensch; one great-grandchild, JT Mensch; his sister-in-law, Louise Rosky and her husband Rich; his nephew, Rich Rosky Jr. and wife Heather; and several cousins. The family would like to offer a special thank you to Heartland Hospice and their compassionate caregivers, Charlotte, Lisa and Shari. The family has opted to have a private viewing, and requests that friends donate to a charity of their choice in lieu of flowers. Leo M.
