Josephine M. (Olson) Garufi

Josephine M. “Jody” Garufi, 64, of Unity Township, died Friday, January 17, 2020 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital.  She was born March 21, 1955 in Pleasant Unity, a daughter of the late Raymond and Dorothy K. (Rimel) Olson.  Jody worked with her husband at Clearview Auto Repair, Latrobe.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Elmer G. Olson and two sisters, Geraldine I. Walters and Mary Ann Stephenson.  She is survived by her husband, Michael A. Garufi, her son, Chad M. Garufi of Latrobe, two sisters, Jolynn Scholfied of Unity Township and Marguerite “Ritie” Jellison of Latrobe, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Private funeral arrangements were handled by Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasant Unity.  Interment was held in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.
