Rita Jean Constantine, 88, of Southwest Greensburg, passed away Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born Jan. 5, 1933, in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Steve and Mary (Bajusz) Mikosky. Prior to retirement, Rita worked at the Westmoreland County Courthouse in the Recorder of Deeds Office. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg and also the Youthful Seniors Club. Rita's favorite hobbies included playing dominos and cards and watching her grandkids play sports. She was the matriarch of the family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Edward Angelo Constantine and several siblings. Rita was a devoted and loving mother and is survived by three children, son, Edward R. and Diane (Bell) Constantine; son, Michael A. and Judi (Tucci) Constantine; and daughter, Diana (Constantine) and Jude Daigle; eight grandchildren, Brian and Susie Constantine, Matthew Constantine, Ashley and Matt Harris, Michael and Megan Constantine, Anthony and Caroline Constantine, and Zachary, Ryan and Nathan Daigle; 12 loving great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Criner; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family would like to give a special thank you to Traci, home caregiver, and the Amedisys Home Healthcare & Hospice team. Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton St., Greensburg, PA 15601. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 1011 Mt. Pleasant Road, Greensburg, PA 15601.
