Victor E. DeRubis, 66, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born August 11, 1950 in Greensburg, a son of the late Ruth Reese.  Prior to retirement he had been the owner and operator of DeRubis Masonry for 40 years.  He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg and the Cercemaggiore Association.  He was a life member of the Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department Hose Company #7, the Pennsylvania State Firemen’s Association and the Westmoreland County Firemen’s Association.  Victor served on the Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department Board of Control and the Greensburg Fire Museum Committee.  He was also a member of the Hilltop Social Club and had golfed with the Monday Night Leftovers.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing and was a member of the Silver Spring Camp.  In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by an infant daughter: Bethany Anne DeRubis; his mother-in-law: Katherine (Rose) Deditch; and his father-in-law: Albert Deditch.  He is survived by his wife of 45 years: Kathleen A. (Deditch) DeRubis; two daughters: Christina M. Sprouse and husband Joey and Angela L. Bruno and husband Frank; and three grandchildren: Nicholas and Colton Bruno and McKenzie Dobrin.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Saturday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg.  Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.  Thanks to family, friends, neighbors and coworkers for all the support.  Special thanks to Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital and Excela Health Home Care and Hospice.  The Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department will conduct a memorial service at 6:30 PM Friday in the funeral home.  www.bachafh.com
